Open athlete start lists and race-day screens

Choose the right RoxDesk display for athlete lookup, the next heat, live racing, leaderboards and finish spotlights, with clear demo sharing limits.

Choose the view your audience needs

  • Athlete lookup: search a name to find a heat, start time and recommended arrival.
  • Athlete start list: review athletes, divisions and scheduled starts together.
  • Next heat: show a countdown and upcoming roster at the start line.
  • Currently racing: show active heats and elapsed timers.
  • Leaderboard: show division rankings and finish times.
  • Results worklist: give the event team a read-only list of finishers.
  • Finish spotlight: display a selected athlete or team’s finish.

Open a display from the selected event

  1. Confirm your event in the workspace selector, then open Screens.
  2. Find the relevant display card and select Open screen. It opens in a new tab.
  3. Check the event and data shown before using the view. A leaderboard needs recorded results; a start list needs scheduled registrations.
  4. Use Copy URL if you need the display link. If clipboard permission is unavailable, the app shows a selectable link field instead.
  5. For a finish spotlight, use Display on Screen beside a saved result in Live to select the finisher.

Understand the demo’s sharing limits

Demo display tabs follow their sample session in the same browser. Copying a link to another device does not synchronize your changes there. Dedicated sample portals are not evidence of a shared production event database.

Do not publish a demo link as your real event’s athlete start list. For an event deployment, first confirm how organizer data, athlete access and venue devices will connect.

If the screen shows unexpected information

Check the event selected in the organizer workspace and whether you opened a link from the same demo session. For an empty leaderboard, confirm that finish times exist. For a missing athlete start, confirm that the registration is assigned to a heat.

Test readability on the actual venue display, from the distance athletes will view it. A laptop preview cannot establish whether text is legible across a gym.
